Purpose: This study aims to examine dispute resolution approaches in indigenous communities Colombia.
 Materials and Methods: The adopted a desktop methodology. Desk research refers secondary data or that which can be collected without fieldwork. is basically involved collecting from existing resources hence it often considered low-cost technique as compared field research, the main cost executive’s time, telephone charges directories. Thus, relied on already published studies, reports statistics. was easily accessed through online journals library.
 Results: literature review reveals significant impacts, including changes conflict management approaches, mediator roles outcomes. Indigenous mechanisms emphasize community values, identity autonomy, influencing contemporary practices. However, integration also raises concerns about cultural preservation, land rights self-governance. Balancing principles with state laws proves difficult. Strict adherence doctrines limits innovation while adaptations threaten heritage.
